FAQ about your Stay at Hotel Pinzger
Reservation / CAncellation Policy
A reservation is usually made in writing and is valid after a deposit of 30% of the package price has been paid. We ask for your understanding that it is possible to reserve certain categories, but not specific room numbers. You can pay the hotel bill in cash, with an EC card, Visa or MasterCard. The prices quoted are per person and day and include all taxes, excluding local tax of €1.80 per person and day (from 15 years of age).
The following cancellation conditions apply to all booked stays:
You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival.
Up to 13-7 days before arrival we charge 30% of the package price.
Within 7 days before arrival 70% of the package price
if you do not show up, we charge 100% of the package price.
We would be happy to advise you on taking out travel insurance with Europäische Reiseversicherung and on your holiday at Hotel Pinzger Tux.
Holiday with dog / PET
subsistence expenses
We understand that you like to spend your holiday with your pet. Our costs per pet and day are € 12,- without providing food.
Please with a leash
We ask you to keep your dog on a leash in the entire hotel area. There may also be other dogs in the hotel and guests without dogs can otherwise be unsettled.
Stay and room cleaning
The animal is not allowed to stay in the hotel beds – please bring the basket / box for your animal. If you leave your dog alone in the room, we ask you to use the “Do not disturb” sign. Room cleaning is also NOT carried out if the dog is alone in the room. Dogs are not allowed in the wellness area or in the dining room. If you would like to take your dog with you to meals, we will of course be happy to reserve a table for you in our lobby area.
We ask for your understanding that any damage to furniture, doors, carpets, etc. caused by your animal must be charged. Before you leave, your room will be checked. We also reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of €100 if the room is heavily soiled.
go for a walk
Our nature is not only beautiful to look at – it is also used by many animals to produce feed. Please do not let your dog run loose and collect your four-legged friend’s droppings using the bags provided (available FREE at the hotel or from dispensers along popular walking paths). Dog excrement in the fresh hay spoils the appetite of the cows. Thank you for your cooperation!
discounts / surcharges
- There is a 25% discount on the 3rd and 4th adult in a double room.
- We charge €13.00 for an extra breakfast (children up to 4 years free, from 5-11 years €7.00)
- We are happy to address food intolerances, allergies and special diets and ask for prior notification
- Included services cannot be replaced or refunded.
- Children up to their 5th birthday stay for free (valid in all categories). Children aged 5-11 receive a 50% discount, and children aged 12-16 receive a 25% discount. The reduction depends on the respective full-paying prices per category

- Check in from 2 p.m
- Check-out by 10:00 a.m
- Breakfast is from 7:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- We serve dinner between 6.30pm and 8pm.
- Our Sauna Alm is open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Our saunas and steam baths are ready from 4 p.m., or earlier if the weather is bad.
Sustainability
Zillertal Nature Park partner company
We are a partner company of the Zillertal Alps Nature Park, which was founded in 1991. There are free guided tours and hikes for our guests in summer, and lots of information for nature lovers.
We wash in-house
All of our hotel laundry is washed in-house thanks to the hard-working hands of our chambermaids and the energy-efficient washing machines and dryers. No long distances and conservation of resources!
Second helping
We want to protect the environment and throw away less. Our main courses are not oversized. You are always welcome to get a second helping of your main course for FREE – nobody has to leave the table hungry, but tons of food don’t have to end up in the garbage either. Please speak to our service staff.
