The “Sauna Alm” in the Hotel Pinzger Tux
A strenuous day of skiing and your calves are burning? Or has the mountain tour taken its toll? Are your muscles sore from head to toe? Head to our sauna area!
You will receive free rental bathrobes during your stay. A deposit of € 50 per bathrobe will be charged to your room bill (deposit will be returned upon check-out).

Finnish sauna & bio sauna
Taking a sauna is healthy! In addition to strengthening the immune system, the skin is also pampered and muscle tension is relieved. Relax in our classic Finnish sauna at almost 90°. For children or those who are not yet very experienced sauna goers, we recommend the bio sauna at a pleasant 55° Celsius to warm up comfortably.
New in 2025: Finnish outdoor sauna
We have had our new Finnish outdoor sauna in operation since the beginning of 2025. A fantastic view of the mountains and forest and the scent of fresh wood guarantee the best relaxation.
Whirlpool
Enjoy the view of the "Lüftlmalerei" painting of the Tux landscape by the artist Hans Steindl in the pleasantly warm whirlpool. The daily stress falls away and the bubbling ensures pleasant relaxation. Close your eyes and surrender to the bubbling of the bubbles...
Infrared cabin with pine wood
According to studies, staying in an infrared cabin improves the immune system, relieves tension and acts like a light cardiovascular workout. The smell of the pine wood also has a relaxing effect and reduces the work of the heart - pure peace and relaxation!
steam bath
You can relax from a strenuous day in the Turkish steam bath with gentle LED lighting. Steam baths can prevent many different health problems. Since the heat in the steam bath is high, the body activates various mechanisms to cool itself down: the blood vessels in the skin dilate and the body produces sweat. Lung activity also increases.
Rest room
In the relaxation room you can relax perfectly with a cup of tea and dream of the next descent / the next mountain tour.

Our sauna is textile-freeFor reasons of hygiene, swimwear such as bikinis or swimming trunks should be avoided.
Sauna towels are available for you at the entrance. -
Entry in street clothes and shoes is not permitted.

Children under 16 years is the stay only with an accompanying person up to 17 pm allowed.

Drinks are not allowed in the sauna. There is a drinking water fountain and free tea in the relaxation area.

The sauna is a place of rest - Mobile phones and Bluetooth speakers are not permitted.

Using the sauna under the influence of alcohol is prohibited.
By entering our sauna area you accept our sauna rules. If you violate them, your access to the sauna may be revoked.
