Reservation / Cancellation / Rebooking / Payment
Reservation
A reservation is generally made in writing and becomes valid after a binding booking confirmation and a deposit of 30% of the package price. Please note that a binding reservation without a deposit is always a contract and will not be automatically cancelled if the deposit is not paid!
Please take advantage of the option to purchase hotel cancellation insurance through our partner "Europäische" when booking. This will save you and us a lot of hassle and stress in the event of cancellations or illness. We would be happy to advise you on purchasing travel insurance from Europäische Reiseversicherung and on your holiday at Hotel Pinzger in advance.
We ask for your understanding that it is possible to reserve certain categories, but not to book specific room numbers.Cancellation
Cancellations must always be made in writing. Whether a free cancellation is possible can be found in the respective booking confirmation. A processing fee of €25 will be deducted from your deposit refund. We appreciate your understanding.
Rebooking / Change to reservation
We are happy to inform you about the possibilities and conditions for changing/rebooking your reservation in accordance with our terms and conditions (based on the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions 2006). Rebookings are subject to availability and require a written request. We will check within 48 hours and get back to you as to whether a rebooking is possible.
PaymentYou can settle your hotel bill in cash, by debit card, Visa, or MasterCard. We kindly ask you to settle your bill the evening before your departure, or alternatively, the morning after breakfast. All booked stays are subject to the cancellation policy specified in your booking confirmation.
The prices quoted are per person per day and include all taxes, excluding local tax of €2,60 per person per day (for guests aged 15 and over). Dear Guests,
Good service requires well-paid employees. Thankfully, we have a lot of permanent staff - which our guests also appreciate - and we don't want to lose them. Even if you book with breakfast only, we have fixed costs with our employees and operating costs, so the difference to a stay with half board is small. You as a guest also appreciate an ambience that is well-maintained and kept up to date with technology. These factors have also become very costly in recent years. We strive to offer you good value for money.
- You will receive a 3% discount on the 4rd and 15th adults in a standard or comfort double room
- Children up to 4 years stay free of charge (valid in all categories, with at least 2 full-paying adults). Children aged 5-11 receive a 50% discount, children aged 12-16 receive a 25% discount. The discount depends on the respective full-paying prices per category.
- We charge €17,00 for an extra breakfast (children up to 4 years free, from 5-11 years €9.-)
- For short stays of up to 4 days we reserve the right to charge an additional fee, which is already included in the offer.
- Included services cannot be replaced or refunded (breakfast and dinner in case of early departure, use of the wellness area)

Your room will be ready for you from 14.00 p.m. on the day of arrivalPlease note that an earlier check-in is not possible - you want to find a clean and fresh room, thorough cleaning takes time. Thank you for your understanding!
If you plan to arrive later than 21.00 p.m., please let us know when you make your reservation or at short notice to the reception staff. On your day of departure, we ask that you vacate your room by 10.00 a.m. so that our hard-working cleaning staff can prepare the room for the next guests.- Check-in from 14:00 p.m

Arriving by car
Directions:
- From Munich/Salzburg/Vienna on the A1, A8 and A93 to Kiefersfelden. Continue on the A12 (motorway vignette!) to the Zillertal exit. Then on the B169 into the Zillertal and to Finkenberg and Tux.
- Vorarlberg/Innsbruck on the A12 to the Zillertal exit. Continue on the B169 into the Zillertal and to Finkenberg and Tux.
Tips:
- If you do not already have an Austrian vignette for the motorway, you can easily buy one online. It is digital and can also be purchased for 1 or 10 days. Details at ASFINAG or ADAC.
Please use the motorway and not toll alternative routes - these can lead to long waiting times due to congestion. In addition, traffic-controlling measures are being used to protect residents. These can further delay your journey.
Check your navigation device – see if the “Toll-free” or “Avoid toll roads” option is deactivated on your navigation device. Otherwise, you will always be directed onto secondary routes and will not be able to start your vacation until later.
Find out about the current traffic situation. To get to your accommodation safely and without problems, you can use the Route planner with traffic information from ASFINAG use.
Arrival by public transport
By train or bus, your vacation begins as soon as you arrive. The trains of the Austrian and Swiss Federal Railways as well as the German Railway take vacationers to Tyrol cheaply, quickly and comfortably. Numerous bus companies also offer good and inexpensive connections to the Zillertal.

We offer a generous self-service breakfast buffet. Choose what you like, including:

A good breakfast is the foundation for a successful day of vacation in Tyrol. Here in the Zillertal, guests enjoy a diverse breakfast that combines regionality, quality, and enjoyment. A generous breakfast buffet is available daily from 7:15 to 10:00 a.m. Please arrive within this timeframe to ensure smooth service. This way, you'll be refreshed and ready for a hike, a day of skiing, or an excursion – ideal for early risers and those who prefer a relaxed start to their day.

Internet / WiFi
Free (Wireless) WLAN is available throughout the hotel, with possible fluctuations in signal strength. Please note that we don't yet have a fiber optic network everywhere in Tux; instead, we provide internet via wireless – we apologize for any slow bandwidth.

Parking and charging station information
Is there a parking lot directly at the hotel? Is the parking free?
Yes, there is a free parking lot right next to the hotel, with level access to the hotel and directly to the elevator.
Can I charge my electric car at the hotel?
There is no charging station directly at the hotel yet. Instead, there is all day Hypercharger (150 kW, 2x CCS plug) am Tux Center parking lot (Lanersbach 401, Tux) is available – this is equipped with Direct access (barrier) from the Hotel Pinzger parking lot reachable.
Ideal for quickly charging all electric cars during your skiing or hiking holiday in the Zillertal. Spontaneous (ad hoc) charging without prior registration is possible here. -
Non-smoker
Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel building. All rooms and suites are non-smoking. If there is still smoking in our rooms, we allow ourselves to charge a cleaning fee of € 200,00. You are welcome to use the balcony to smoke, but please keep the doors and windows closed.

Sustainability
Please help!
We want to protect the environment and throw away less. Our main courses are not oversized. You are welcome to get a FREE refill at any time – no one has to leave the table hungry, but tons of food doesn't have to end up in the trash either. Please speak to our service staff if you are still hungry.
We wash ourselves
All of our hotel laundry is washed in-house, thanks to the hard-working hands of our chambermaids and the energy-efficient washing machines and dryers. No long journeys and conservation of resources! If you don't put your towel in the laundry every day, you too are helping to protect our environment. THANK YOU!
Zillertal Nature Park partner company
We are a partner company of the Zillertal Alps Nature Park, which was founded in 1991. There are free guided tours and hikes for our guests in summer, and also lots of information for nature lovers. We would be happy to inform you about all offers at reception.

Subsistence costs
We understand that you like to spend your vacation with your pet. Our cost per pet per day is €17,- without food, regardless of the size of the animal. We reserve the right to refuse your booking with a dog if there are too many requests in the same period.
We ask that you keep your dog on a leash throughout the entire hotel area. There may also be other dogs in the hotel and guests without dogs may otherwise be unsettled. Animals are not allowed in the dining room or the wellness area. If you wish to bring your dog to dinner, please discuss this with reception in advance; if possible, you will be given a table in the lobby.
Stay and room cleaning
We have specific rooms that are permitted for stays with dogs (with parquet flooring instead of carpet) - the availability of these rooms also depends on the season.
It is Animals are not allowed on the hotel beds. Please bring your pet's carrier/crate. If you need to leave your dog alone in the room, please use the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Room cleaning will NOT be performed if the dog is left alone. Dogs are not allowed in the spa area or the dining room.
We ask for your understanding that any damage to furniture, doors, carpets, etc., caused by your pet will be charged. The room will be inspected, and any additional charges will be issued within 48 hours. We also reserve the right to... Cleaning fee of €200,- especially if the room is heavily soiled.
Dogs are only allowed in the rooms that we have designated for them (see information on parquet flooring) - in case of violation, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of €200.Go for a walk
Our nature is not only beautiful to look at – it is also used by many animals to produce feed. Please do not let your dog run free and collect your four-legged friend's feces using the bags provided (available FREE of charge at the hotel or from the dispenser along popular walking paths). Dog feces in fresh hay spoils the cows' appetite.
