THE VARIED SKI AREA

In Pepi's winter children's area on the Penkenjoch, all kids and ski beginners can playfully try their first attempts on skis. Little winter fans learn basic skiing techniques in the ideal beginners' area near the Finkenberg mountain station. 

If you're looking for a sporting challenge, you can't ignore Penken. Austria's steepest piste experience awaits the very brave here: the legendary Harakiri piste with a gradient of 78 percent. It is the steepest of all black pistes in the Zillertal and should only be skied by absolute experts. Snowboarders are looking for a challenge in PenkenPark: Five permanently perfectly shaped lines and a fantastic crowd have given the park a reputation that it definitely lives up to. Pro Area, Advanced Area, Medium Area, MediumJib Area and KidsPark promise every ability level a great time on the mountain.
